Is a bmw convertible too much for a new 16 year old driver?

My dad said he would give me his bmw and he would get a new car, but my mom thinks is too 'fancy' and that i am too spoiled, but i really really want it!! Is it too much for a 16 y/o?Is a bmw convertible too much for a new 16 year old driver?Yeah is too much, just think that maybe you can be 30 years old and can't afford a convertible BWM, but if your dad said he can give it to you just take it.



Once you have the car just remember that you couldn't afford for it easily and always remember that !!!, and take a lot of care on it, and for sure that it will last a lot, remember too that many boys and girls will want to be your friends just because you got a BMW but you will not find real friend or boy friend due to your car.



If I were you, I would take the car, have a lot of care on it, and always remember that I will have a lot of fake people around me, but at the same time enjoy knowing that maybe but the time I will have a family and be working I will have other priorities that will make harder to afford for a car like this.

for 16 y/o thats pretty spoiled u cant even drive by urself on the road when ur 16 just dont buy or take ur dads car till ur 20!
I think it is definitely a very fancy car for a sixteen year old. But it depends on your family and how things work. I have friends who were given brand new cars on their sixteenth birthdays and I know people that had to buy their own car and they generally drive cheap beaters. Im 13 and im set to get either a Mercedes C-Class or a BMW 3 series and ummm no. There not too fancy!!!!! theyre fkin awesome! The only thing is for you what may lead your mother to believe that its too fancy is that the insurance rates will skyrocket once they find out that ur gonna drive it. And if you get into an accident, your mom will make you eat your words......thats about it.......uhhh........hope that helped...
yes that is way to much for a first car.. as you grow older you will want a better car .. can you say you could ever afford a better car.. Get you a honda the insurance and maintenance on the car will be a lot cheaper . beside a honda civic or accord is a very nice car and will last .
If u have the bank for it drive it bt if u don't then get a cheap car and when u learn how to drive better then take that sweet BMW and drive it every were good luck
Yes it is. Being 16 years old and not experienced enough, you will eventually crash it. Start off with something small.

Tell your dad to sell it and give you the money so you can buy something more suitable for your age.
Of course it is. My dad was happy to give me a 528xi when I got my G1, but I declined it because it looked too spoiled and people will call you a show off.
