How can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive?

New to BMW's and I was wondering what letter or indication on the outside will tell you if a BMW is all wheel drive? THANKS...........How can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive?X is BMW's symbol for AWD.

For example, the back of the car should say 330xi If it has AWD. If it does not have AWD, it says 330i.

VW is 4motion

Mercedes is 4-Matic

Porsche is 4

BMW is X

Audi is QuattroHow can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive?
On the outside of cars.

AWD, 4WD, 4X4, something like that.

check the owners manual. How can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive?X
There has to be X or Xi next to the model badge on the back. (unless somebody took it off or put fake one) for example 325Xi or 330Xi, older models had ix, like 325ix.How can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive? With the exception of the SUV's, which always have it as an added option, if a sedan or coupe has "Xi" in the model, it has all wheel drive. for example, the "325Xi" is all wheel drive. How can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive?
You can run the vin number on carfax.com, and it'll show on the first screen prior to you even running the report. So, it's a free check. Good luck.
x marks the spot. As mentioned here, the x3, x5, and any model with x (325xi) is all wheel drive. Actually it is a better system known as x-drive that is super on slick roads and in snow! How can you tell if a BMW is all wheel drive?
If an "X" is in the name.

For Example:

BMW 328xi- AWD

BMW 328i- RWD

Good Luck
If just 3.0i or something like 325i it is not AWD,but if 325xi then awd,so look for "x" in model name
There are only two BMWs that I know of with 4 wheel drive,

The X5 and the X3

They do not say 4wd or awd on them so it must be the X
