Any advice is appreciated. How to remove and panelbeet the front bumper and left fender of an 197@ VW beetle? ?The fender can easily be removed by looking on the inside of the fender behind the tire. All along the edge are bolts and simply remove all of them. Fenders are readily available as new partsbut will need to be painted. Of course your old one will have to be painted anyway when it is fixed. Bumper you might as well buy a new one of those also. Check out JCWhitney Classic VW for parts. And what is a bonnet? Never heard of that on a bug, I'm sure I have just never heard this particular part called that before. How to remove and panelbeet the front bumper and left fender of an 197@ VW beetle? ?wrecking yards are full of these and you might even find the right colour. Take the old one off and you might get the yard to exchange the headlight and turn signal so you don;t have to swap them out.
