I need to set the valves, the guy helping me said he needs the tolerances to do this. Anybody know aor where I can find themWhat is the tolerances on the valves for a 1965 1600 VW motor?With the cylinder on TDC (top dead center) 0.006 both intake and exhaust.
With oil on the feeler gauge, it should have a slight drag to it.
After he has set the valve and tightened the crown nut, have him check it once again to make sure it did not move when he tightened the crown nut.
