How hard is it to replace 02 sensors in a BMW?

There are 4 O2 sensors, 2 pre-cat, 2 post-cat. The pre-cats are right in front of you after removing that top plastic cover. Pretty straight forward.



Replace that little vacuum hose for the air pump valve too. It's most likely be brittle and you'll break it messing with the wiring of the sensor.



The post-cat is a different story. But most likely you'll only need to change only the pre-cat ones, bc the post-cat stays clean and not need to be replaced.
