How much it costs to maintain any bmw car?

I'm thinking to buy a used bmw car and just want to know about repairing this car on regular basis. How much it costs to maintain any bmw car?It depends on how many miles are on the car. They offer a warranty i think for 5 years or 50,000 miles. If you want to you can buy another warranty which will extend it to 10 years or 100,000 miles. With this warranty you do not pay for anything except the paint and interior(if you have any problems with them). Everything elce on the car is covered. I hope this helps! How much it costs to maintain any bmw car?
any german car will inherently be more expensive to maintain compared to a domestic assuming the warranty doesn't come into play. For instance, oil change on a Bimmer will be over $125 at the dealership...you can easily buy Mobil 1 at Wal-Mart for $25 for 5 quarts, and a filter will probably be about $12. On my domestic, the oil filter is about $5-7 depending on which one you choose. Brake pads, I got my brake pads at Pep Boys last week for $4 for the entire front axle. My rotors were $17 per wheel. BMW pads alone will be at least $50-70 and rotors probably over $125 per wheel. A water pump for my domestic would be about $120, a BMW would probably be over $300. Parts are just more expensive, partly because they're not as mass produced as domestic, plus they're engineered with tighter tollerances in some cases and flat out cost more to make. If servicing costs are an issue, lease or buy a newer Bimmer, they have zero maintenance costs for 4 years or 50k miles. How much it costs to maintain any bmw car?i own a bmw and it is expensive to maintain especially in high millage, also depending how you gonna fix it by your self would actually be not that bad but if you cant do anything and you have to go to dealer or whatever its pain in the ***, for example i wanted to buy OEM break pads in bmw dealership and they told me pads and install was around 250$ and i was like no way. i just went to auto zone bought some pads for 60$ and change them by my self. but thats just an example there is alot more to that. bmw is my favorite car and if you do your maintnance regulary and little stuff here and there you should be good and btw bmw is an ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE dont forget that
They cost more than japanies cars. The guy with third answer who replaced his brakes with some from autozone wont stop nearly as well and bmw brake pads and rotors. Stuff wears out faster on bmw's and they use a lot of plastic in the engine compartment that just cant take the heat. If you can find a good independant shop that is trustworthy then it won't be as expensive as the dealer unless they cant properly diagnose a problem that the dealer may be very familiar with. How much it costs to maintain any bmw car?ok well first off I've owned 4 BMWs and now on my 5th

worked on them myself and all had well over 150k when I bought them

depending on model they usually need common replacement parts like water pumps, fuel pumps, and sometime lower control arms and or struts/shocks

but this is over time and many thousand miles and depends on previous owner had taken care of it and wasn't a

"kid racer" (avoid those cars they have been beat on too much)

shop for parts on Ebay and learn how to install yourself or find a BMW enthusiast DIYer that will do it for a fair price

by the way... two of my 3 series had 280k when I sold them, still running strong with no issues and my 5 series now has 230k miles just now my fuel pump failed (after 230k !!!).. ordered it and will install this week (easy if you are mechanically inclined)How much it costs to maintain any bmw car?
Routine maintenance isn't much more expensive than any other car. The problem is most people don't do the routine stuff and the replacement parts are a bit pricey. An oil change cost about $120. But, the oil can run 15,000 miles vs. most cars at 3,000 and about $45 at Jiffy Lube. You are actually cheaper in the BMW. I just had new brakes and rotors all four wheels at $800. My son had all four (disc) with rotors for $740. I also got the brake fluid flushed and filled at that price. They wanted $100 to do that on the Taurus. If you are talking actual repairs, then the BMW will be more costly. What needs to be repaired will be the driving factor there.
Well, I'm not sure, apparently alot. My mom has been buying BMW's and then selling them before the warranty expires, and buying another. lol. But they are really nice cars. it's a real chick magnet. hahaHow much it costs to maintain any bmw car?
Dont even get any high mileage bmw.... they are hard to keep in running condition.

Id get certificated CPO bmw from dealership to avoid any problems.
