Try LA or SF Craigslist and the online BuySell publications as well as the Times and other classified news papers.

I don't think they are quite as hard as the first two answers have outlined. It's not a car you can just open the local paper and find multiple examples, but if you watch the classifieds, craigslist, carsoup, autotrader, ebay (especially), it won't take long to find one up for sale. Their prices are soaring so don't wait too long to find one. Don't hesitate to buy one out of state and drive or have it shipped back.
