How would i put new rims on an old bmw?

I have a 2001 BMW 328ci and I want to put 19" rims on it. Are there any instructional videos on how to do this or articles that I can read? How would i put new rims on an old bmw?Wheels have whats called an offset. Its best to match the offset of the bigger wheels to what comes stock on your car. On most all wheels made to fit BMWs the offset is usually marked on the back of the wheels so if you take one off and look your looking for the letters ET and a number (ET10 for example) Once you get the offset matched then you can look into getting the great big wheels look.
As for the width of the wheels and tires you should ask in BMW forums just how big of wheels others with cars exactly like yours they have fit on the car where the wheels haven't interfered with the rest of the car. Usually what happens when they are to wide the tires rub on the inside of the rear fender well and or the fronts then usually in the front the wheels rub on the strut tubes and the sway bars depending on the cars design.
A tires total rolling radius is also a big factor so your speedo will be as true as it can be. The bigger the wheels diameter the shorter the tire should be. Keep in mind the wider and shorter the tire is the worse the car will feel when driving and the handling is usually affected in undesirable ways. This is why you see huge wheels for sale on Craigslist all the time. How would i put new rims on an old bmw?the fenders should be altered and the wheel arches might be a problem too. if you raise the ride height then it might not be a problem.
