How to negotiate with a BMW car dealership?

we are planning to buy a 2011 128i coupe from the BMW dealership, and putting a down payment for about half or 2/3 of the amount of the car. The price is about 32k btw. since we are putting down such a large down payment, is it possible for us to negotiate the price of this vehicle?? and what should we say?How to negotiate with a BMW car dealership?the car dealerships are hurting. the economy has got them over a barrel. first, know the value of the car. use kelley blue book to give you accurate information regarding the price of the vehicle you are looking at.

then dont be afraid to walk away while the salesmen is talking. we all know this is rude, but he's hoping you wont do it. if he wont come down a little on the price walk back to your car until you hear the words you want him to say and follow-through. if you have to leave the lot for the day, do it.How to negotiate with a BMW car dealership?you can always negotiate.

look up the invoice price on cars.com or yahoo cars and ask for the car at $100 over invoice.

If they won't negotiate go to another dealership. The last thing they want to see you do is leave.

try to contact internet salesperson from their website or call them, they will give you a better deal than on the floor because they know you've done research and are competing against other dealerships. you will already have a contact too.How to negotiate with a BMW car dealership? How you pay has no effect with the saleperson. They actually want you to get a loan with them because they get a refer fee.
