Can I import a new VW Bus from Brazil into the USA?

I've always loved the Buses and was thinking of importing a new one. I heard that you couldn't import the 1990's ones because they didn't meet emissions standards for the USA. Now they have a water cooled Rabbit or Jetta engine in them and was wondering if the new watercooled buses are legal to import. If anyone could help me out with this I'd love some help.
