Comparing the new 2011 BMW 528 and a new Mercedes E300 which is better and cheaper?

It is a bit hard to give you answers for price because I've searched on the BMW and Mercedes-Benz American and UK websites and they don't offer the E300, but I am sure it does exist, obviously not in those countries.



Main differences, and this is usually with all BMW vs. Mercedes things, the BMW is more of a driver's car, with sharper steering and normally better performance, whereas the Mercedes will have a more comfortable ride and more comforts such as gadgets, but in terms of performance and gadgets, they're both reasonably bang on, so really you have to decide whether you want a driver's car or a more comfortable ride.

Bigger engines and other models for both MB and BMW are imported in finished car or as we call them completely build up, and the tax is more expensive. I'd love to have the BMW 550 or E63, but those are really expensive here in Thailand.

Comparing the new 2011 BMW 528 and a new Mercedes E300 which is better and cheaper?I'm currently using C250 2.5 with AMG styling with all suspension and the big 18 inches tires all around. I enjoy it quite a lot but, both the new E and series 5 look very tempting.

I'm not sure if you live in Europe, but I know the smallest engine Mercedes in the US is the E350. I didn't get a chance to drive the 2011 beamer, but I did get into the Mercedes and used to have a 08 bmw 535. I heard very good things about the improvements in the new beamer, but it is difficult to get a hold of. I believe there is still a waiting list. The Mercedes is much more available, and you really can't go wrong with either one. I personally prefer a little more horsepower such as in the 535 or e550 but they're both great cars. The Mercedes was more spacious and much more comfortable. The Beamer has a slightly harder ride but also much tighter steering. Go Merc for sure, they are so much classier than BMW, but if you want sportier, get a used AMG
