Is there anyway to drain the gas tank of a VW Golf by yourself?

I accidentally filled my 2000 VW Golf diesel with regular gas - so now I have to drain it - but if seems impossible with these newer models. any suggestions other than getting it towed to a mechanicIs there anyway to drain the gas tank of a VW Golf by yourself?Start siphoning.... I've had that issue with a gas attendant filling my 50 gallon gasoline tank in my flatbed truck with diesel. Get as much of it out as you can by siphoning or other method. While I'm sure its against any advisories... you can effectively dilute the gas with the diesel. Fill 'er up diesel! I'm sure you'll never do that again! :)



Good luck!Is there anyway to drain the gas tank of a VW Golf by yourself?if it dont have a drain on the bottom of tank then maybe a hose and suck it out the old way then you need to also change the fuel filter..... you could do it ... but it would be best to have it done right... and hope you didnt run it to long with the gas in there
