I plan on going to Wyotech in Fremont in July and I am going to do my best to get into the BMW program to become certified. I just want to know: How often do certified BMW mechanics get paid? What is their payrate? My brother is an Alignment Specialist and gets paid based on the work he performs (how many jobs, parts, time, etc.) .Your best bet would be to call a dealership and speak with the service manager or check in your local paper's classifieds. In canada they get paid 15-20$ an hour depending on their 'rank'..

In BMW the real money is on the sales floor....

You get no benefits and paid like anyother job every other week...

Depends on your area and how usefull a BMW mechanic is. Check with the mechanic shops, dealership shops, etc to find out what they're going payrate is. As far as how often: every employer pays differently. Monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, etc. Good Luck!How much do certified BMW mechanics get paid and how frequently, as far as hours or salary?they make good money and are paid per job. if a particular job requires 4 hours of work, you are paid for 4 hours of work regardless of your actual time spent working on the job. in other words, if you finish that job in 2 hours, you are still paid for 4 hours, so it pays even better when you work fast and are good at what you do. i think the rate is upwards of $15 per hour that may be commensurate to experience - i do know some folks who get paid even as much as $20 to $25 per hour.How much do certified BMW mechanics get paid and how frequently, as far as hours or salary?
An experienced mechanic on foreign vehicles is going to make at least 60k per year, stick with the foreign specialties cause it will be cooler to test drive a porsche than a ford.
