How do you get a door open on a 94 540i bmw if the door latch has broken on the inside of the panel?

I have a 94 540i bmw. The outside latch will not open the door and now the inside has disconnected itself between the door panel and the door. I am having to slide over the seat in order to drive my car. It is called a panel tool (no surprise) It pulls the plastic rivets out of the door panel without tearing the panel. Take the armrest off (screwdriver) and the window handle off (if it is a manual window) with a door handle tool. Door handle tool just removes the c shaped clip that holds the handle on. This is normally done with the door open so you would have to just remove what you can reach to get enough space to get your hand in to pull the door latch release rod manually.How do you get a door open on a 94 540i bmw if the door latch has broken on the inside of the panel?The inside door panel has to come off to repair linkages or broken parts.Best bet Dealer because door has to be opened to remove panel which they can do.
