What is the average yearly maintenance cost for a Lexus or BMW?

Any Lexus or BMW owners who can tell me how much they spend per year on maintenance costs? I can't decide which brand to buy out of the 2. This is a huge factor.



Also I plan to buy certified pre owned if it makes a difference...What is the average yearly maintenance cost for a Lexus or BMW?Its hard to give you an exact figure because i dont know year , engine size, fuel type or the exact model of each that you are considering buying. So i have just listed the price of 2010 models to give you an example.



2010 Lexus Hs Hybrid $2400 in the first five years

2010 BMW 3 Series Coupe $2000 in the first five years

Rascal beat me to the best answer but I will add the fact that then BMW is also far superior in Quality than a Toyota Lexus so that alone will mean less maintenance costs....
