I need to find a free downloadable repair manual for a 1991 BMW 525i?

Please someone help me find a repair manual that I can download for free. My stepfather is helping me to change the master cylinder out of my Bmw 525i and he has never worked on foreign cars before. Anyone that can help me find this manual or knows anything about how to change this part please respond. Thank you!I need to find a free downloadable repair manual for a 1991 BMW 525i?Save your money and yourself from the aggravation of looking for something that any ordinary mechanic does not need.

The procedure of replacing the brake master cylinder in the car you mentioned is not any different from doing the same in any other car.

BMW's TIS (repair procedures) does not even mention any method for it is so basic/generic.

Detach the two (frt. and rear) hydraulic pipes, detach the master cylinder from the vacuum assist, then replace with new unit. Fill the cylinder with brake fluid (DOT 4), bleed the master cylinder, install and attach the hydraulic steel pipes, then bleed manually each wheel.

Bleeding should be the age-old style of one man pumping the brake pedal and another bleeding the wheel cylinders. Using a pressure or vacuum assisted bleeding contraption is not recommended. Make sure the wheels stop when braking even while on the lift. Then roadtest.

It has 224 pages of drawings, photos, exploded views and technical descriptions relating to the E34 BMW models built between 1989 and 1995. Most repair subjects are covered in this book of 225 pages. No home should be without it.

You could also check with E-Bay or your public libraryI need to find a free downloadable repair manual for a 1991 BMW 525i?I don't know about downloading a manual for free, but if your in the UK, then look in WHSmith, they have repair manuals for old BMW's and other cars beside.
