How much is it to fix my BMW headlights?

It was my first rain storm and my right side headlight when out, the sensor light on my dashboard keeps beeping.. The headlight flashes on and off I think its some kind of sensor malfunction.. Around how much is it going to cost its a 2001 BMW 325 CI?? Help. How much is it to fix my BMW headlights? If it's a xenon headlight (has projector lenses) it's most likely a bad igniter / control unit for the xenon light. Only the control unit will set a fault though. On the left side- it's next to the air cleaner box- (has 2 connectors under a black plastic cover) but the right side is UNDER the headlight- meaning the headlight will need to be removed to replace it. If it's a regular non xenon headlight- replace the bulb. How much is it to fix my BMW headlights?
If it is just a blown bulb you can get one for under $10.00. But if you need to replace the whole system then it will cost several hundred. If rain was able to get into your headlamps then there is most likely a crack and you short circuited the whole thing.

Best bet is to ask a BMW mechanic at one of the dealerships about it. They won't charge you unless it requires body work. How much is it to fix my BMW headlights?go to BIMMIAN.com if its the light thats out, you can get cheap bulbs that are very good. if its just a sensor thats messed up then i doubt the light itself would be out and it would just cause a warning light. so it sounds like the bulb is out. dont replace the whole light housing system. just the bulbHow much is it to fix my BMW headlights?
Don't bother with it, traffic tickets will be much cheaper than replacing the headlights on your BMW.
